Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Emily Bordner graduated from Punahou School before majoring in biology at the University of Washington. Dr. Bordner received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Upon graduation, she was selected as a resident in General Practice and Emergency Dentistry at The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, with a focus on emergency dental trauma and dental care for medically compromised and special needs patients. She then completed her Pediatric Dental Residency at The Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Bordner is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Hawaii Dental Association. In her spare time, she is an avid sports enthusiast and also enjoys travel, cooking, painting and spending time with family and friends.
